RO & Water Purifier Service — common questions
The things technicians ask us before they start using Agla Kaam.
Sediment and carbon filters at 3 months, membrane at about 12, UV lamp at 12. Set the interval once when you log the installation and the app raises each visit on its own, so a customer installed in January appears again in April.
Record it on the service card — 75 GPD or 100 GPD, brand, and the TDS you measured. The next technician who opens that customer, including you six months later, sees exactly what is fitted before leaving the shop.
It is the whole problem: by then the filter has been dead for weeks and they blame the purifier, or you. A reminder at three months turns a complaint call into a booked visit at a time that suits you.
Log the inlet and outlet TDS at each visit in the service notes. Over two or three visits you can show the customer the trend, which is far more convincing than telling them the membrane needs changing.
Create an annual contract with the number of visits included, usually three or four. Each visit you log counts against it, so both you and the customer can see what is left without an argument.
Log each unit as its own service line against the same customer — home kitchen, shop, office. Each keeps its own filter dates, so one does not hide the other.
